Indonesian Mie Goreng

400g Mie Goreng Noodles

2 Eggs

7 cups Cabbage

1/2 cup Hot Red Chili Peppers

2 Shallots

3 clove Garlic

1/2 cup Oyster Sauce

1/4 cup Soy Sauce

1 tbsp Chili Flakes

1 tsp Honey

Pepper to Taste

  1. Sautée 7 cups of cabbage with 1/2 cup of red chilies on medium heat for 3-5 minutes. Add 2 thinly sliced shallots and 3 minced cloves of garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring often.

  2. Mix 1/2 cup of oyster sauce, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 1 tbsp of chili flakes, 1 tsp of honey, and pepper in a bowl. Pour into pan and simmer for 3-4 minutes.

  3. Cook 400g of mie goreng noodles until they are al dente, drain and mix into the pan, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  4. Top noodles with 2 fried eggs and chili flakes.
